Fort Collins, CO - old town. Gray Rock is pictured below. It's 15 minutes from my front door, a little ways up Poudre Canyon. In the past week we've had 2 disasters close to the trailhead there: 1) an asphalt truck drove into the Poudre River and dumped 5000 gallons of hot liquid asphalt in the river - just upstream from a Ft Collins water intake; 2) there was 10-acre forest fire burning on an adjacent ridge. Man, the smoke and haze from the LA fires were killin' us yesterday. I'm heading up to Gray Rock peak right now. Enjoy your day. Peace.

Greyrock is my favorite quick getaway. I'm afraid the view from the top is probably terrible right now.
